Does the plan include any hotspot?
Read the plan details. Says right there the $50 plan has 10GB and the $60 plan has 20GB hotspot.

Byod on Verizon is a scam. 'Any' problem with your service and they blame it on the device manufacturer. I was stuck without voicemail for over a year because they blamed LG. I got a new phone direct from Verizon. Still had the same problem. Magically they figured out the problem. Verizon is something I'd avoid.

agree. I love their sneaky way to solve the problem by "creating a ticket". If you ever reach them again no-one will be able to find it.

There is a CB offer on Chase and US Bank credit cards. Literally on each card I have. 15% at $35 and up charge, maximum $15. So maybe add 2 + 2 if moving a family plan and combine it through certain CB sites?

Earn 15% cash back
Up to $15.00

10 days left: offer ends June 06

"Earn 15% cash back on your Total by Verizon purchase, with a $15.00 cash back maximum when you spend $35 or more.

Total by Verizon offers wireless solutions that fit your lifestyle. Now through 6/30/24, get a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G on us with qualifying new line activation."

Amazing prices for sure - but just be aware that Total is QCI 9 / lowest priority on the Verizon towers. Don't expect to get usable data service when you're in any sort of crowd (except maybe in areas with good 5G UW coverage).
So Visible, but the security of being on a 12month contract.

I joined Total by Verizon in early May and it was May 8, 2024 and by May 10th and there was a problem I had no bars at all and I can't text or go on the Internet except by Wi-Fi. Call CS and they were unable to help me. I have an unlocked Motorola Stylus 5g 2022 version and the IMEI was compatible when I joined. So I called CS and they said if you want to refund contact your credit card so I did and Total by Verizon refunded me. I paid $10 for text and talk for 30 days just to try their service before I port my real number to them. So now I see the promo for 50% off and I try again if I were to go back and I put in my IMEI number and it says "The device ESN/IMEI number you have entered is not compatible with Total by Verizon service. Try with another device or purchase a Total by Verizon device from our site or by visiting one of our stores or retailers." Just a word of advice if you leave Total by Verizon you can't join back again if you have the same IMEI number. They will BLOCK it. You need a different phone IMEI number to rejoin Total by Verizon and the phone has to be unlock and compatible.

Looks like visible is QCI 9 and visible+ is QCI 8, based on what I was reading.

it's also $45 a month now for Visible+
Oh so they bumped up Visible+ making it less of a great deal. Feel like they did that so people opt for the new annual plans. Looks like paying for a year up front gets you Visible at $23/m and Visible+ at $33/m. They get a year's worth of payment upfront and only lose $2/m from their previous deals. Smart play for them. And still a good deal for users if you get good coverage. Visible+ having smartwatch plan included makes it a great deal for anyone who was gonna pay for that anyway.

*And that's with taxes and fees included, so it's more like $20 for Visible and $30 for Visible+ on the annual plans. With smartwatch plans going for $10/m that makes Visible+ effectively $20/m...🤔

They're trying to get all the frustrated T-Mobile users who recently had a $5 price increase per line.
Paying less than half what i was paying at TMo and very happy. 3 months and going strong. Not looking back to move from here any time soon. Very happy with the service and 0 problem so far..

Not sure your IMEI got blocked because you had already joined Total before and left or if it's because you got a refund by going through your credit card, which I assume makes it a dispute? I think most companies don't look kindly to being strong-armed into a refund via credit card dispute. Feel like you got some bad CS help, they should've resolved your issue in-house.

The old visible+ plan was $35 and you had to pay $5 to add a smart watch. But you were limited on the Hotspot for 5mbps and only 1 connected device. If you upgrade and have a watch its now $5 more and you get 10mbps and i think up to 10 connected devices for the hotspot.

But there is also Google fi which has an unlimited (middle tier) plan that has free smartwatch add on. If you have 4 people its $25/person/month. but there are taxes and fees.
