For most people gaming the 5600x will be fine for the cpu, and the 3080 is worth it over a 3070, especially spending...less? Then you can shore up the RAM and add more storage with that $100 savings.

It played 4k really well when it came out, and it probably handles just about any 1440p game with barely a hiccup, so it's probably fine for the foreseeable future.

I'd prefer a 4070 ti, but at this price it's a good value for the 3080

Kinda meh, first being that its a refurb, second being that the ancillary specs arent good. Only 8GB of slow DDR4-3200 in single channel, youll absolutely want to replace this with a better 2x8GB kit. Same deal with the 256GB SSD, modern AAA games can easily use 100GB of storage, with a 256GB SSD you wont even be able to install Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield at the same time... You can upgrade it, but then youll have to reinstall Windows, and with these two highly recommended changes you might as well just build a PC yourself TBH

So weird the ram and SSD size they paired with this video card.

I know they can be easily upgraded, it's just unusual it was built like this.
