I had ultras 21, 22, now 23, soon 24.

S21U is not worth it. S22U is so much better. 21 gets hot. You turn on a camera, it gets hot.. When I got 22, it was like generations ahead, cool, smooth graphics. There is not much difference between 22 and 23. But for sure a lot between 21 and 22.
I also have owned the series (S20U, S21U, S22U, etc.), as well as a Pixel 6 Pro.

The S21U has a known camera hardware issue that many of us never saw a fix for. After months of agony, I dumped it for the S22U. Sad, because I really liked the S21U, outside of the camera issue. But, if you happen get a S21U with the camera issue, it's absolutely painful.

Just a heads up to anyone in deliberation about getting one. Just Google S21U camera hardware problem and you can't miss it.

Worth the switch from my Pixel 6?
One consideration -- I found the Galaxy Ultra phones to feel a bit heavy after switching back from the Pixel 6 Pro. (They weight like 10% more.....which was just enough to notice.) But, with the exception of the S21 Ultra camera hardware issue, I found the Galaxy Ultra phones to be more capable. (Particularly, when taking photos and 8k videos.)

Any one has experience with battery condition for these refurbished phones ?
tried these phones a few times, always good to excellent condition. batteries always are horrible and might have 60% life in them.... don't waste your time.

Why buy an S21 when they stripped all the specs out of it? The S20 has the expansion slot, 12GB RAM, and ultra HD screen. The 21 has none of that.

You will be lucky if you get a good condition phone from this seller. If you report a problem, they will contact you directly and offer you to send you a replacement, which they never do. Also, never accept a return label directly from the seller unless you submit a return request on eBay. The seller will not refund you, and eBay would say you never returned the item. It took me two months to provide all the proofs including the return label. Keep screenshots of everything because seller will block you if you submit a negative review.

Really, the only phone to consider is the google phone. Then I like OnePlus. I would look on Ebay and see what the prices are for used.

Has anyone considered the fact that if you buy a S21__ (2021 era) phone, you only have about 2 years of remaining Android Security updates? So then you'd have to change phones again in about 2 -3 years anyway?

Because at the present time, Samsung provides only 5 years of Android security patches for its flaghship line of phones (which is actually still longer than some OEMs provide for their flagship line of phones).

Thus, a S21__ model of phone released in 2021 gets its last security patch in 2026.
And, the S22 line gets its last security update in 2027.
The S23 line gets it last update on 2028, etc.)

I bought from this seller, both the original and replacment were broken in some way. I had to return for refund. If you use as trade in it should be fine.

Nope... At the present time Samsung offers seven years of updates. Now, when the S21 was released it was only four.

Got the phone today and the screen has a black dot on the bottom. Looks like mine will be going back. The seller offered a $5 partial refund... No thanks.

I did get mine and it's fine. I was going to use as a trade in either way but needed to make sure it would pass the test. Seems this is a YMMV seller.
