I ordered some samples from microperfumes before ordering a full bottle on a previous SD post. I've read reviews on reddit that there are better places to order samples like DecantX or Scent Split, but my experience with microperfumes was good but next time I'll probably try both DecantX or Scent Split. I've heard of similarities of GIT and Cool Water but I've never tried CW and some people say they are completely different.

One thing I have learned is, get a cheaper original but get an original. There are some cheap originals which are quite good. Instead of buying these clones

Or he could have his own opinion and think it really does smell like lemon pledge. If you wear it and like it and feel it's worth what you spent, then you win.

I've had 3 bottles of Aventus, the reformulations are weak, it's so bad that it's like a poor clone of Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man which is $35 and lasts all day.

I've spent a lot of time researching the differences. And basically from what I learned the only differences is in the upper notes...which last 30 or so minutes in both ARMAF and Aventus?

So yeah, armafs upper note is synthetic and lemony and not as complex as aventus. But if you are a single dude it literally doesn't matter because chances are the upper is gone before the cologne will really matter Wink

I wore ARMAF for a year straight and I literally had several girls I was seeing who couldn't stop commenting on how much they loved it on top of more compliments than I've probably gotten from any other scent. Including a lot of the ones often touted as compliment getters like Issy Miyake, cool water, etc.

No desire to try the real deal with results like that.
