as far as ceiling speakers go, they are a little light on bass compared to the likes of the JBL B-6IC which went for $30 each(currently $60 each) But for atmos, they have been great. Hearing a zombie's footsteps land on the floor above you is something else.

Also, they sell a back box specifically made for this speaker so if you have blown in insulation or are looking for a better bass response, buy those as well.

Good, but not the best deal. They were $129 a few days ago, but only lasted a day. $169 appears to be the true "regular" price.

Hey for those who are considering these - they're great. They're good as Atmos speakers, and I also use them for music in the room as well. They sound GREAT. I can't tell the difference between these and my much more expensive speakers in the other rooms. I do have subwoofers, though.

Solid speakers for small to mid-size room. Don't expect booming bass - but solid. List price is completely out of whack... but $150 for the pair is very fair. Works well with Sonos Amps (both the newer gen and the Connect:Amp S2)

I got these a couple of years ago for $100. They work great as rears for surround. I have a sub so bass isn't an issue.
