This kit is only worth 350 if you'd use all the tools and don't currently have any tools. Only the grinder is brushless. This offering is underwhelming and a big discount off an inflated msrp doesn't make it a deal. A 3ah non-high output battery isn't enough to reliably power the impact wrench, grinder, or Hackzall.

No. It's a kit in a box. It has its own SKU and Milwaukee part number. No different than trying to break up a pizza kit in a box

This set is actually clearanced to $320 in my store, apparently... but I still wouldn't go for it because it's all basically 'bottom of the barrel' M18 stuff and won't really compete with the M18 Fuel lineup, if that's important for you (including the 3.0 and 1.5 batteries - the least desirable of the entire bunch).

Agree. Fuel version is normally better and the batteries aren't the adequate ones.

Having said that i ve some non-Fuel M18 Milwaukee tools and they are perfectly capable for occasional DIY projects. So this set may still be good enough starting on a budget.

M18 fuel is the way to go if you're working professionally, but M18 is more than enough for the average homeowner.

This so true. All the comments about these being no good and everyone should only get fuel is absurd. This tool kit is great , with the only negative being the small batteries. Would have liked to see at least 1 5.0. These tools would do any job the avg homeowner could ever want.

Just out of curiosity, what set would you recommend for a homeowner that would potentially only really do a few small things here and there. Outside of the drivers and occasionally saw/multitool, I doubt I would be looking at anything else and was just unsure of what brand/product line to go for.

Good deal if have zero tools. Otherwise, it's ok.

A few of these tools are like 3 generations old. Not a huge deal if you do casual things around the house, but if you use your tools often or on the job, then maybe just check the differences between the products and their newer counterparts.

I would highly recommend checking out Facebook Marketplace. You can easily find the specific tools you need and potentially the fuel versions for a lot less than Home Depot. I've bought most of my M18 stuff there after buying the first tool from Home Depot on an extreme deal years ago. The batteries on this are very small. The higher capacity M18 battery is very helpful with the outdoor tools (blower, hedge trimmer, pole saw, etc). The M12 lineup is also great since the tools are smaller for DIY stuff around the home. Just checkout the Milwaukee website and compare M12 vs M18 and see if there are tools you prefer more in one group or the other. Unless you need a specific tool right now, just setup alerts here and watch what is out there.

only one tool in here brushless. the other junk is brushed. the impact wrench is a decade old model that is weaker than modern mid torques. it's big, loud, heavy and it's just junk. it wasn't even good when it came out. it was the budget alternative to the 2767-20, the fuel model of the time

the other tools in the combo are fine. it's only the wrench that i think is crap
