for people who say stuff like this: do you ever just contact the manufacturer on these amazon listings? the amount of times they literally just send you another pack with literally no pushback whatsoever is incredibly high. if you're not doing this when you expected anything to last a bit longer than this, you're just wasting money. get your moneys worth, people!

might be a dumb question (yes i did try to google first) but would there be any chance existing non-240w-specific cables could be charged at that speed, like hdmi cables back in the day worked for newer specs for longer than expected?

or should i just still be wondering whether any 240w chargers (or devices, for that matter) exist commercially lol

anyone use these with high speed charging on OnePlus phones? Curious if this would still get me top speed using these vs the OEM cables oneplus ships out with their fast chargers

I mean… it's the USB PD 3.1 specification maximum, how would you like them to state it, in relatable terms? Nobody (including yourself obviously) is going to read the standard, so a maximum wattage to match up to potential device usage is the way to do it.

not sure how helpful it is (i only have a 9 pro), but if you're also in the US (and limited to the north american charger), i use a monoprice 60w-rated cable with the original charger and it hits the "ultra-fast charging" (with the decimals in the percentage lol) which is supposed to be 65w just fine!

i think it's the same 65w max up to and including the 12 pro, so these should work fine (but plz don't come for me if they don't 😅)

I have learned to do this and really appreciate you letting folks know. 💖

I'd still prefer not to have to contact the manufacturer, myself - not because it's super time-consuming but bc I . have a thousand other competing tasks to keep track of and would rather prioritize things like, add a special note to my kid's lunch, over, write manufacture and ask them to do what they should have done to begin with.

Still, definitely follow up when you get something that's unreliable!
