for people who say stuff like this: do you ever just contact the manufacturer on these amazon listings? the amount of times they literally just send you another pack with literally no pushback whatsoever is incredibly high. if you're not doing this when you expected anything to last a bit longer than this, you're just wasting money. get your moneys worth, people!

Code also works for the 3-6-10 ft pack. Around $8 total after the $5 dollar code

not sure how helpful it is (i only have a 9 pro), but if you're also in the US (and limited to the north american charger), i use a monoprice 60w-rated cable with the original charger and it hits the "ultra-fast charging" (with the decimals in the percentage lol) which is supposed to be 65w just fine!

i think it's the same 65w max up to and including the 12 pro, so these should work fine (but plz don't come for me if they don't 😅)
nice I'm also on the 9 pro, thanks for the input!

anyone use these with high speed charging on OnePlus phones? Curious if this would still get me top speed using these vs the OEM cables oneplus ships out with their fast chargers
I don't have these specific cables, but I do have a 100 watt hub with 100 watt cables and I haven't noticed any difference in charging speed compared to the OEM. I also have a OnePlus 9 pro.

I don't believe that a USB C cable will last only one week even a 99 cents store will last a lot longer.

How do you use a usb cable wrong?
user damage to cable.

It is unlikely that all 3 are bad from the beginning. Even if the cables aren't able to handle the 240W and heat up like crazy, they would just not reach the limit to due loss. All cables have it, some are just worse at efficiency but they will still work and run hot. I don't have these 240W cables but I do have plenty of their 65W and 100W ones and not a single one has under performed.

I tried these. It failed to charge my s24 at 45w, but it works fine with a 30w charger.

I bought these from another deal awhile back. I was surprised the cables were as thick and strong as they are. Very happy.

sometimes it's nice to have cables that just work when you need them
Absolutely. You should also respect the money you spend and follow-up. There are QC issues with almost anything. Let the manufacturer know, they send you replacements without a hassle, and the replacement ones likely will be better than your first set.

Last time I ordered a cheap Amazon 100w charging cable slickdeal, it couldn't actually do 100w. Here's hoping if they're claiming 240w, it'll do at least 100w.

I am looking for a USB-C to USB-C with 40gbps data transfer speed and 240W charging cable. I dont think any of these would match this spec.

40Gbps? USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 only has a theoretical maximum speed of 20Gbps.

You can easily achieve 40Gbps with a Thunderbolt cable which has the same form factor as USB-C, but the device needs to support TB3 or TB4 obviously.

If they only lasted a week, that's user error.

might be a dumb question (yes i did try to google first) but would there be any chance existing non-240w-specific cables could be charged at that speed, like hdmi cables back in the day worked for newer specs for longer than expected?

or should i just still be wondering whether any 240w chargers (or devices, for that matter) exist commercially lol
No, it's not like HDMI. The cables report their capabilities using an 'e-marker' and have to be programmed to state that they support 240w (and ideally have been built to actually safely handle that load). The charger sees this report and allows higher current.

But it's also fair to consider that there are very few chargers that pump out 240w over usb c today.
