I got the last boxed one at the Plano store in DFW (75&GWB). They still have a display that's marked with the clearance price, someone could probably snag it for a bit cheaper.
I'm tempted by this because of the B&D's age (7 years now, pretty impressed), and because I already have some 18V LXT batteries, but this Makita apparently has two safeties that have to be depressed to run it.. seems like if you take your second hand off, it'll stop running: no one-handed reaching to the top of a large shrub..

I did ask, but the only 'help' I got was that it's somewhere on the racetrack. It was just nowhere to be found, and I wasn't about to drag an employee around to hunt for it across the whole store.
