Metro by T-Mobile is now selling the 2024 version of the Moto G Stylus 5G smart phone, which was just released today. The phone is either free if you port in your number from a non-T-Mobile carrier, or $29.99 for a new number. To get the full discount on the phone requires the selection of the Metro Flex Plus $70/mo with AutoPay Plan $75 for the first month. Shipping is free. Subtotal will be $75 if you are porting in a number or $104.99 if you choose New number.

This phone is slightly upgrade from the 2023 model. Change include:
6.7" pOLED display 120Hz
8 GB RAM
Better cameras

The processor is the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 as the 2023 model.

Caramel Latte color.

Firefox gave me an error when trying to add it to my cart, but I could add it when using Chrome.

Starting on 5/8/2024 Metro by T-Mobile phones unlock 365 days after the activation date. Previously phones would unlock even if only 1 month of service was paid for.

I think it's still only 1st month of paid service. However, personally for me, waiting for 365 days makes no sense, especially with new phones and tech upgrade spans getting shorter.

This device unlocked after 365 days would not be worth even $75.

Agreed. Plus the fact after a year of waiting the phone will be half the price

I don't mind the year wait. It wouldn't be my main phone. The 2023 version still works great. But to join with the most expensive plan?? Blah. Guess they have to make their money back somehow.....
Will just be looking for their tablet deals now and hope they're not "bottom of the barrel" ones.

I mean the whole point is to use subsidized phones for their service. Not put it in a fcuking drawer

They're not selling you the phone for $75. Their phones are discounted to attract people to their service. Stopping being too greedy!

I was wondering if 1 Yr is applicable only for Phones activated after May 8th.

I have Samsung Meto activated on 12/2/23 and as of today 5/30/24 its 180 days still says not eligible to unlock.

While the price is much higher than before, I really like this phone. It's almost perfect for me and I just ordered one and that could be my final phone order with metro
