edt version cheaper at costco if you have it. some reddit posts say the edt version doesn't last as long tho

I price matched with Nordstrom's last night, before I had placed an order with Amazon.
The agent I dealt with was named Cheryl, and was extremely helpful! All I did was send her the Link to the cologne on Amazon, and I mentioned to her that it was sold and shipped directly through Amazon.

She was able to match the exact price, including free shipping to my house. Nordstrom's then sent me a text message with a link to complete the purchase!

It couldn't have gone any smoother and I will be doing this in the future whenever Amazon has a deal, as their designer cologne is typically fake imo

How depressing that something like this is so difficult to buy without being certain that what you're getting is authentic.

How would one even know? Just a simple smell test?

Great price but don't buy perfumes from Amazon. Amazon is NOT an authorized retailer for Versace.
Often they are not legit. No matter what the reason, you can't return perfume to Amazon.

There are youtube videos where they compare the packaging of a fake and a real bottle. I bought this last time and authenticated it this way.

You don't even have to mention the reddit posts. Eau de Toilette is by intention and design a more watered down version compared to Eau de Parfum. A major reason why EDP is always more expensive than EDT.

However, some people prefer EDT because their tolerance for strong smell is weak and EDP overwhelms them. I personally wear EDT more than EDP for this very same reason.

This is not real Eros. Be aware, do not trust the Amazon post as Versace Eros. Look at package and bottle from real one.

i can see costco has Versace Eros Eau de Toilette, 6.7 fl oz for $65. Is this EDP worth for 10 bucks more? I did purchased though lol.

Yes, the EDP is stronger / lasts longer and 100% would be worth $10 more. I am actually surprised that the list price between the Eros EDP and EDT is only $10, as there is typically something more like a 20-30% premium for EDP.

This is correct - they call it "commingling" - where they basically assume that all products sent to them in "new" condition under a UPC/SKU is the same as the one that Amazon themself sell. If the Amazon-Stock is in the KY location and 3rd party stock with a matching SKU/Condition is in Arizona, if someone in California orders the amazon-sold one, it might be fulfilled by the 3rd party stock since "it's the same item"

This is generally true, but you can end up with a fake that was sent to them or even liquidated products that a seller is listing as new
