Thumbs up, seems like a good deal...that $1500 price seems crazy to me for what it looks like though.

The size of that thing is great for 3 or 4-year-olds, but at that age, they can't handle most NERF guns. I think there's a reason they're unloading these so cheap.

$778 at Walmart

Not sure what a fair starting price is, but this does seem like quite the discount

There are 2 other smaller sets at Menard's that look like stand alone additions that match this set:

Same here, but i still cant understand how it can be this cheap even at regular price $246. Or did we get accustomed to inflation prices. Because i know i cant even build half of this for that price, not to mention all the other plastic pieces that are specially made.

Great price, obviously, but maybe not a great deal. Amazon had one of the other, smaller sets (the Headquarters, with cup targets), for about $250. Reviews were definitely mixed, and the more extensive reviews were critical: damaged pieces, difficult to assemble, low-quality, unable to stand up to the weather.

I may still bite on that smaller set for $100 bucks but I wouldn't expect it to last a winter.

Pretty flat, especially for the taller boxier parts. If not, you have 2 main options, 1) Level it by putting in mulch or shredded tires, etc, whatever good surface your kids can run on. But that is a lot of work and really expensive. Or 2) What I did, I went with these things, they work great! Really depends how slanted your yard is, but I have like up to 4 high, and I have a bigger/taller Kidkraft playset than this by a good bit. https://leveldry.com/
