Appears they are getting rid of 450ct cotton sets. Sucks since these were the best sheets I've found so far for the price.

That's weird, never had that experience. I dislike Costco personally. Too many damn people in there, way longer gas lines, no Scan and Go app and their cafeteria isn't as good. There's generally more Sam's locations as well in a given metro area so they tend to be easier to get to.

Would you say the online "pickup" status (Twin being available) was accurate for your store? (i.e. any chance they'd have them in-store if online say no pickup available for any size).

Nope. People will believe the hype. I go to both but prefer Sam's because I don't like standing in line. The prices on the items I purchase are about the same. If Costco had scan and go, I would go there more
