Their solar panel deals are usually terrible. $0.50/watt is very expert, especially for cheap Chinese brand.
You can get new bifacial panels for as low as under $0.20/watt or even lower on sale. I wouldn't buy these unless you need just a couple

Can you advise where you can get panels for $0.20 a watt online without buying a pallet or sketchy Facebook marketplace?

I've seen as low as $0.17/watt for bifacial for a pallet. You can get new and used panels at santansolar, signature solar, etc. In my opinion, used Sunpower panels from Santansolar are higher quality than these Chinese panels. Being less than half the price is just an added bonus. But like I said, if you need just a couple of panels, go for these

Well, you're talking about used ~400w residential panels.
A lot of people just want smaller panels for whatever reason.
Those 400w panels are big and heavy.

I live in a HOA neighborhood so I have to resort to smaller panels.
I have 10 of these 100w bifacials and 4 195w bifacials.
They are alright at best. You're only going to get around 70-75% even in best conditions.
But because they are cheap and small in size comparatively, these works well for me.
Let's do the math. $47 for 70w(out of 100w) is 1.55w per $1.
Other 100w panels are around $65 and best case scenario get around 85w.
Even in this best case scenario, it's still 1.30w per $1. Still much much cheaper per wattage for the Eco.
Not only that, these 100w panels are smaller in size than any 100w panels I've run across.
Solar is my hobby. I live in a HOA house that doesn't have much outside space.
Eco worthy 100w and 195w are the best solution for me.
Even when we move and I have plenty of land, I'd still stick with ~200w.
Those 400w panels are just too big for me to work it. Couldn't install those myself.

You could be the first person. In the history of Slickdeals that wrapped on a deal and then actually backed it up with where you can find it cheaper. You have restored my faith in SD

I live in an HOA too and am interested in Solar as a hobby. All the HOA restrictions kill it for me and I'm trying to find something I can do. What sort of projects have you done with solar without crossing any HOA lines?

Well, I don't know if I have crossed it or not but no one is complaining yet.
We're fenced and I tried putting all my solar just below the fence so no one can see it from the outside.
I even thought about putting a small pergola in the back and putting the panels on top but as soon as someone complain, I might have to get rid of my panels so I'm sticking to what I have.

Yes but the person is asking, where can they buy a couple solar panels compared to buying 10 of them?

Check with your state, some have laws preventing HOA from restricting solar.

I do not live in an HOA but hate how they look on the roof.
So I was planning to have someone build a 12 foot wide covered walkway (with a screened porch in the back and a carport on the side) that wraps around the perimeter of my home. Then put the panels on top but with an opaque perimeter barrier so people cannot see them unless they have a drone or whatever.
Need to find a website to estimate costs since my electric bill is $300 per month at 77°F, but outside it's 97°F
