I have this knife and it works good for when you are rapidly going through blades often. Cutting a lot of cardboard/shingles/etc.
That said I'm not really a fan on how it's either all the way out or all the way in. You do not have incremental blade options to keep from being fully out. This may be a non-issue for some, but sometime I like only having a bit of blade out to reduce the risk of being serverly cut if the blade slips or something.

Interesting idea for a utility knife, I'm going to pick a couple up. Plus it complies with those states that limit your magazines capacity to just 10 😉

Figured out a quick way to find a store that has it for this price. Look up on item all the stores and add one of each from each location to your cart. In your cart it'll show the price at each spot and you can just remove all but the closest one to you. I used discover for 5% this quarter thanks everyone. Giving the second to a friend

TY for not taking them all !

As of Friday, the Mills still had 43, though they all weren't on display. A few were on a hanger on an end cap near the utility knives. Collier was reporting 30.

These are hefty box cutters. Definitely needs a holster. If I were still contracting or roofing, I'd use it everyday. It's a bit much for my current job of cutting shrink wrap & tape. Wish the slider had more stops. Might have to fix that ... Thanks OP.
I would never do that to a fellow SD'er. 😂 I bought what I wanted and left the rest for other deal seekers.

I saw this at lowes but it's really fat in the hand, not my cup of tea, we all carry a lot if tools, I Don't want to waste space and weight in the toolbelt for features like this, kind of neat, looks fun to load and reload I guess but I'd rather have a slimmer more ergonomic knife and there are many great tool free blade change knifes out there, no need for the infomercial gun like features

Huge YMMV... 2 of my stores in the Pittsburgh area had 50 packs of Toughbuilt hook blades on clearance. 75% off, or $6.22

> Carbon Steel 3/4-in Hook Utility Razor Blade(50-Pack)
> Item #: 5300932
> Model #: TB-H4S50-14-60
> Unit Price: $6.22

This was only at 2 of the stores that I go by. & quantity was limited (7 or 8 at each store). Surprisingly, the hook blade works better on shrink wrap than the normal blade.

.... But but... Just buy a "magazine repair kit" for the full 20. Silliness. All around.

Wish it had a clip on the side to hold to your belt or a lanyard hole

I agree. Mine stays in the truck. I use my 49 cent keychain "utility knife" to cut. Though, I've resold 4 of these !
...
Relax, it was to people I know. They gave me 5 bucks. I lost money. But we have a utility knife with a clip ! Haha

I'm not expecting anyone to know this but just throwing it out there. Does anyone seem to know what's going on with toughbuilt recently? Am I missing something?

Their items on all store shelves have become so scarce. I really love their items but man I just don't seem to see too much of them any more and I just invested into their StackTech line.
Frap..I feel ya. I think their stuff is on the way out brother. We haven't seen anything new for months now. That's not good. These guys too an aggressive and expensive approach to attempt to get a foothold by introducing a blast of items before gauging market acceptance it seems. Nothing new in stack tech. And their rolling bags on Facebook are dirt cheap suggesting a hard sell.

Lowes is scaling them back now and have started working their product "in line " by tool type rather than grouping together.

I am saddened personally. Though honestly, their items are generally bulkier than the rest. Today is more about packing a big punch in a small package.

Hopefully you saw the screwdriver set at Menards for $8

It'd be awesome if it also autoflipped the blade for 100% blade efficiency
