The Hisense U6K 75 is 100 bucks more and is a significant upgrade. Well worth it. These wouldn't be bad for a menu display in a restaurant or a static image, motion on these is honestly unbearable to watch and the contrast is horrible with bloom around everything.

For Sony to put their name on a product like this is really a disservice to the brand and a clear cash grab.

They shouldn't be allowed to sell ADS panels without local dimming 😬

Not sure where you're getting the horrible bloom observation since rtings says, "This TV doesn't have a local dimming feature, so there's no blooming around bright objects or subtitles in dark scenes."

Lol the Rtings review: "The Sony X77L is a disappointing TV with poor picture quality, and you shouldn't buy it."

I am cheap af but I don't think I'm so cheap that I will buy a 75" that only costs $500
That was the line of the day

Finally, a sensible comment on one of these threads. Instead of the usual, "What a killer deal! You're getting a 75" TV for just over $500! This is amazing."

There's no such thing as a good TV this large, for this cheap. You can't even get a good 75" for $1,000. This is what you buy when you think TVs are all pretty much the same and you're just spending more "for the name," and that size is the most important thing. TVs are one of those things you absolutely get what you pay for.

Would this be good as pc monitor instead of dual monitor? I have dual 34" but hardly ever use second monitor but often do side by side windows

For the right usage, like as an indoor signage, stock ticker, this is fine, IPS, decent viewing angles.

For movies, QDoled is the best consumer panel right now.

I have the 43" 85XJ which I bought 2 years ago and they are still selling it. It's a good TV big difference is the 120hz refresh rate vs the 60hz on these.

Given my brother's first hand experience with Hisense; I never consider them. (Got a bad TV last year with defect and customer service to fix was a full time job and nightmare) But they get so much love here. Anyone else have such issues? Maybe I'm letting this one incident weigh too much on my own purchase?

Fyi purchased 50 in sunday, not shipped. Getting chat support is near impossible, they keep forwarding you to sales and then it never connects. Awful support.

I'm on the mobile website so perhaps those don't show but the only even slightly relevant features comment I saw was about Hisense is better *as a tv*.
