Geeesh...if this is how they are going to treat me now that I'm on the team......hmmmph. 
OK here's the scoop...are you paying attention?
I had a nice long phone interview with Bryantq back in Nov. and last week they flew me in to Vegas for the face-to-face interview.
The night before last, Bryantq informed me that I did indeed get the job. I will be starting as the CRM of slickdeals on January 11th (barring any travel delays). They have informed me that they want to start me off as a Moderator while I'm still here in MI wrapping things up and prepping to move so that I can see what things are like behind the scenes.
*The Wizard is letting me see behind the curtain.
I have the next 2 weeks off work due to the holidays and then Jan.4th I will go back to my driving job for my last day. On Jan 5th, Bea and I will get in my car and start the 2100 mile drive to Las Vegas.
I think I know what Dorthy felt like on her trip to Oz.
I am extremely excited about this opportunity and a tad...scared as hell!
I only have about 1015 things to do in the next 2 weeks.
Ummm since I can't even sticky my own announcement...that I had to make for myself...this feels a bit anticlimactic.

As I think about it..Your previous job experience and this one will mesh quite well..for example..
1. Keeping Johnny (everyone it seems) from putting spiders down Suzie's shirt (Autumn)
2. Keeping an eye on the back seat...making sure Ralpie (Jex) and his squeeze aren't getting too deep in the Hanky Panky.
3. Stopping the Jocks from beating up the Geeks..
4. Ensure that the radio station is tuned to a moderate station..or you can keep it on talk radio..like they would even care about that stuff!!
5. Cleaning up messes and removing any incendiary devices placed there by rival (FW) schools
6. Keeping the ride smooth as to not disturb the constant texting, pic messaging that goes on (if their parents only knew!!)
7. and most important...do not forget the earplugs when it gets loud and obnoxious...or just do the "don't make me pull this bus over!!"
