Reviews says it doesn't get cold enough. I'd get this but I like my drinks ice cold.

Yeah these types of coolers adont have the ability to be a true mini fridge. but it is a good cheap option for the wife if she wants her skin care products chilly.

Sure, but as others have mentioned it, they do form condensation. A paper towel on the bottom helps. This was the only type of fridge allowed at my mom's care facility. She absolutely loved the thing, as she kept bottles of water in her room, and it was something very important to her. She also kept yogurt and leftover sandwiches, it was never a problem. Mind you, they don't cool down very quickly, they take several hours to chill something from room temp, but they get there.

If you can find a small compressor based fridge, they do work better, but they're a lot larger too, and they aren't $28. My mom's hearing wasn't very good so it didn't affect her, but the noise of the fan cycling can be irritating, it was to me anyway. I spent $99 for her 10L fridge.
