Reviews seem good! Curious if anybody has this and has some real world feedback.

At $1200 it seems kind of pricy???

I have one with about 700 miles and about 3 years of usage. It's pretty solid, but (IMHO) the Tech is a bit old for the price (maybe because I own it for so long?)

Battery last about 45 holes, or 2x18 holes and an additional 9 holes. So it will last at least two rounds even with older battery.

A number of guys at our course have them and love them. Strongly considering grabbing one, though not sure it's worth the upgrade from my push cart.

I got one about a year ago. I got lucky and got a refurbished one with 0miles on it from a slickdeal.

I think its been the biggest upgrade iv made. Walking in a natural motion without having to push a cart uphill is worth the $.

I've been using mine for the past year and a half and love it. It is a bit pricey but worth it for me because I play a pretty hilly course. I used to carry my bag and using this has saved a lot of lower back strain and worth it just for that, which has allowed me to play better and more consistently through the round. I used to get stiff and sore by the 13th/14th hole and my score would worsen but now it feels more like I'm on a nice hike.

I am thinking about getting refurb next winter. My big thing is that this doesn't have the follow feature. Had that been an issue at all?

For that price and no follow feature? Golf is expensive.

Pretty good deal from a retailer. We sell these for roughly $1,400. Costco normally has these around $1,500. Cost on the is just under $900

Absolutely get this <or another equal value competitor>

I play multiple days a week and am coming off a 5th back surgery. Carrying is a non-option for me. But my electric push cart allows me to walk again and enjoy the game at a much better pace. <I can easily keep up with a two-sum in a cart> . I feel better not having to crawl into and out of cart and bouncing all over the place. I can stay loose walking.

My CC has "Hills" in it's title for a reason so I have a cart with a wider wheel base and 5th wheel for hills.

You'll save money on Cart rental. For me I was ahead in my first season.

Just make sure the first time you use it isn't a tournament. Takes some thought at first. But after 2 1/2 years its just part of the routine. The follow feature on some models is over rated if you ask me.

I dont think i would use the follow feature even if it had it. Maybe some of the time. The courses i play are pretty hilly and usually im never in the fairway lol.

I set it to go and follow behind holding the remote. Turn when needed or when i notice its way off path. Find ball then direct cart to me. But remote on seat. Hit a shank. Wash and repeat

Got this model from their refurb site around Black Friday for about $960 in excellent condition. Love it and use it whenever possible. Having used this for over a year, I will say a follow mode it not necessary and in all honesty could lead to more frequent cart spills as you're less likely to pay attention to where the cart is going.

Also, the layout of my remote with the stop button at the bottom of the direction pad instead of the center took a bit to get used to but have no issues now.

An important piece of advice, always lock you cart when you're on the green or not paying attention to your cart. I've pressed the buttons on the remote accidentally with my butt and crashed it. I've also seen other "rogue" carts that have crashed due to people not knowing their cart was on the move 😂.

Thanks! Will wait for the refurb sale later this year. I have played with people that have the follow mode and it seems like more of an issue than a feature, but some swear by it.

My wife and I have shared one of these for 3 years now. Paid full price. Recommend putting a 5 lb weight in a lower pocket of your golf bag to help guard against it flipping over on a steep hill or descending a curb. Our course is a 6.5 - 7 mile walk and this helps make it easier. Only issue I have is getting it properly strapped in when you use a Sunday or equivalent lighter golf bag. My golf bag is a not tall enough to make it an easy fit to strap it down. I second the using the lock button advice. It can easily activate while in your pocket.

Curious where you all are able to walk so much? I walk 90% of the time at my private club but at public courses I get a lot of push back on walking?

Learn to play faster. There are multiple mode of play: casual (workout, practice, etc..) and tournament play. In casual mode, you shouldn't worry too much about the total/final score but simply making the shot you want to make and learn from it.

I've seen many people try to fit in 9 holes before work in the morning. I've seen average early tee-time players complete a hole around 7-8 minutes, which would be around 2-to-2.5 hours to complete. There are even guys who go out there running with their push cart for morning workout that finish in 1-to-1.5 hours. When your tee-time is so early that they haven't even clean the dew on the green, you don't really need to spend too much time putting.
