I see 2 of these available at my closest store, and 6 available at another nearby store. I think this is a high YMMV deal - super slick if you can find it locally.

Agreed. I have 24V but not 40v. Could be a marketing trick to purchase 40v battery.

39.57 and 24.72 i have found a few but are they really worth it...i have the 40v batteries but think this huge battery is going to make the work light HEAVY not light

I wouldn't call this deal dead. I bought last night (6/16) and picked up today, with an additional 5% off using lowes credit card. Limited stores around me for $24, numerous more were in $34 range. Pretty awesome since it has a USB-C port and 120V connection. Can't wait to test brightest setting outside tonight.
