I have the older version of this and if they didn't upgrade the panel I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than media. Text is blurry for monitor use and gaming it's really bad at blacks and only 60 hz. The uniformity of the screen is inconsistent.

I have the M80C. I generally agree that the picture quality is fairly disappointing.

And I noticed that about 10% of the time, when I plug it into my Windows laptop through the usb-c input, the text looks very blurry (much worse than usual). So far (knock on wood), if I unplug the usb-c cable and plug it back in, the text looks better.

In spite of those cons, as I've mentioned elsewhere, the thing I think is the dumbest about the M80C "Smart Monitor" is the combination of 1) Bluetooth audio sync problems that are so bad that the Bluetooth is unusable for movies/shows, 2) no way to adjust for audio sync as there is with other streaming devices, 3) low quality built-in speakers, and 4) no headphone jack.

I have used a usb audio interface with it, which the monitor did recognize, and this does make the audio sync much less worse, but still noticeable to me.

Maybe they finally decided to put a headphone jack on this one. Or, maybe they still expect people to shell out the extra cash for higher models with this premium feature.

I have the m70c version of this. It's great as a smart tv, but as a monitor the text is too blurry and it has bad ghosting. But if you're just looking for something to watch TV on it works well for that. I have it connect to my Bluetooth speaker which is a cool feature

One thing I wish they would fix is that it has no physical buttons. If you want to do anything, and you've misplaced the tiny remote, you have no choice but to tear apart your house looking for it. I think I am going to attach a big bright green flag to the remote so I can find it easier.

Update. It has physical buttons! I finally got out the user manual and it turns out there is a button on the back. Woohoo!

Don't be fooled. It's a 32 inch 4K TV without a cable coaxial hook up and tuner. $200 is all it's worth. I just bought a 43 inch 4K fire TV for $99 on sale.

Why buy this when you can get a TV with similar specs for cheaper? You might have to get a 43" at minimum, but I feel like most people can deal with that.
