I have this refrigerator, front of pull out drawers and side storage shelves have all cracked or broken. Would never buy again.

As an owner of an LG fridge, my compressor failed 3 months before the compressor warranty was up. Luckily, LG fixed it for free. But, it was still a hassle. I'd buy what the guy recommended on the video.

I sold appliances back in the day. I was impressed then with the Whirlpool brands, Maytag, Kitchen Aid, Whirlpool, Jenn Air, Amana. That's all I've owned and I can remember having one problem, one time, that cost $25 to fix. Do with that information what you want.

LG had issue with compressors a few years back and got sued for it. Their newer fridges are fine.

They are getting sued again for faulty compressors. Fool me once shame on you. Fool be twice shame on me. They did not correct compressor problem.

They are all designed to fail soon after warranty period. But some are designed and made better than others. My brand new GE refrigerator can't get below 43f on the frig side, no matter what temperature I select on the fancy display.

Not really. It's been 20 years and our washer-dryer is still running well. Our LG tv lasted 12+ years before it gave up. Our LG OLED tv is still running well. So, I'll keep buying LG products. I've heard that LG refrigerators are bad, but that doesn't mean their every product is bad.

LG lol has warranty but like someone mentioned, if you don't mind waiting with no refrigerator for a few weeks until they order the parts, then come repair it. Wink

GE is not GE anymore. Same as IBM and Motorola. They are all owned by China.
