I did this last time in nov 2023 when they offered $15/$100 GC. Online has a hard limit of 3 (First 12hrs had no limit or forgot to activate it). I was however able to go in store and buy as many as I wanted. Even had my CC company confirm I was the one buying it. Used everything to get a new ip15p.

I did this the last time, two of the gift cards were already used within a few days of buying it. I'm guessing it's because there's no PIN to redeem it. There was a class action suit about this with Apple a while ago as well.

Bottom line: buy at your own risk, Apple nor your credit card company will work with you. I lost a couple of $100 trying to gain a few $10s.

So far I have purchased one towards my Circle Rewards spend offer. You get $90 in credit (100- $10 Target GC). So right now I'm at $90 out of the $210 I need to spend.

looking to do this to buy an ipad pro during the back to school sale. But it looks like there's an 8 max limit of giftcard to use online. How do you guys get around this so you can use more than 8 and pay for the entire cost using giftcard?

I have "spend $125 on qualifying purchases to earn $15 in circle rewards" offer. Just tried buying 100 AGC thru my target gift cards but looks like we can't buy apple GC's this way. any alternatives to make use of my gift cards?

load each card into your apple account (max limit of $2000)

you can't use Target gift cards to buy Apple gift cards (or any other ones).

do you have an iphone, macbook or ipad? If an iphone or ipad, hold down on the App Store app and choose 'redeem gc' on list. If a macbook, open up App Store and click on blue colored 'Redeem Gift Card' on the upper right.

I got the 3 cards max.. assume my wife can purchase another 3 and I can load them into my Apple account seeing that these are gift cards?

Yeah the issue is the target gc are locked to the other account. Might not be an issue if you are married but an issue for people trying to create new target accounts to bypass the limit 3.

I had spend $100 and get $10 in Circle rewards, Bought a $100 and $15 in one transaction (to go over $100 purchase) - instantly got 5% off using my Target circle card and in few minutes when order was fulfilled, received $20 in my wallet in the Target app. Thanks OP!

Been to two Target stores this morning and they were already completely stripped of all Apple gift cards and Visa cards throughout the whole store lol
