Yes, though it can store other small items as well, I suppose. The price is slick (and free shipping, too).

Gotcha. I have a toddler now so might be useful to store a bunch of junk. I think I got a box for $1.50 from target back to school clearance last year.
The box of 3 for $1.40 seems like a great price.

I believe it's one pencil case for $1.39 (random pastel color, whichever color Staples ships). Or $0.90 for the black pencil case.

Just got 5 of the black ones shipped. They are much sturdier than the single-compartment blue pencil boxes I got from Staples before.

The only drawback is the smoke color of the lid on the top compartment—it would be way more useful if that was clear plastic.

Even so, they're nice little boxes for storing small items.
