GPU doesn't have a power cord attached - unsure if that affects performance
Only front USB-C with none on the back. Maybe that doesn't matter, just somethings I saw.
And its not exactly elegant, but seems like a good price for the parts. Could totally drop the whole system in a new case if desired.

The 500W power supply might be a little skimpy if you intend to upgrade the 4060, as well. Otherwise, without buying a used GPU and waiting for good deals, it would be a challenge trying to build something at this spec (and processor generation) for very much less.
I also dislike that they sell a gaming PC with Windows 11 Home. The home editions have been so locked down over the years that they're not even fun, especially if it gets delivered in "S mode".
Don't understand the apparent 3.5" HDDs in the pictures when the specs say it has m.2 storage. Stuck with 2 slots for memory, probably only one m.2 key.
Add another $70 for a decent case (if you can even swap this weird looking motherboard into another one). At that point I'm not sure it's so much of a deal.
I'm definitely not saying anything except i see a power plug that's empty.

But many gamers I know are also professionals who utilize the fuller featured version of Bitlocker and the native virtualization support that's offered in PRO editions, too. Given that you can get a Pro license key for about $10, I don't see a reason not to have those features available if you are doing more than gaming on your gaming PC.

Happy to know I'm not missing out on anything related to gaming with Win11 Home. This system is probably not aimed at that "professional" audience. Just looking at the case and you can tell this for the kids who want to try PC gaming instead of console. For Acer to spend any more money than they need to on a pro license is just going to be throwing money away for 99% of those who buy this.

That said, with the grey-market cost of upgrades being what they are, I just have a personal preference for Pro on all my devices.
