We need to nuke this dell pay as part of a price. Opening a new of credit is over the top.
getting a dell card with no benefits for $100 discount is wild. wellsfargo active $200 and 2% cb, capital savorone $200 and multiple good categories and that's with bare minimum research
Tbh I feel it's still a good deal at 1709. I'm not going to do the credit thing.

Hopefully I has swap the CPU for an i9-14900KS that I get 50% discounted from work.
Hopefully you can get top end cooling also as that CPU runs HOT.
Also 13900k ks and 14900k ks have stability issues. Lots of info on it.
I had to do 3 things in bios to keep my 14900k running stable and not crash.
One thing was to clock all P cores to 5.6.... what a joke intel.

I just purchased this 2 days ago @1709 ( no dell pay ) , if anyone interested this qualifies for a bundle with the dwf 34" Oled monitor and you pay $499 for it ($799 original price) so if you're looking for an Oled monitor as well and are already planning on spending $700+ on one, this "technically" means you're paying around $1400 for the PC ( $1300 if dell pay is used )

I did with monitor and got a coupon for 10% off monitor as well Mon10.

How is the gpu proprietary?

That being said the new chips will be out soon, new npu and all that will depreciate older gens quick.

According to reviews it is a dell specific model that was designed for them.

Just picked it up for $1,476 plus taxes. Used employee discount to get $323 off and then I already had Dell Pay and they gave me $100 off. Great deal thanks OP

Oh it just means its dell branded, likely made by another oem you've heard of. May have extra retention mechanism to survive shipping but its just a card.

People were ripping these things out and selling them during the shortage.

Ugh, just bought the components for this build almost identically save for mine has a 14700 and a 2 TB drive. Cost well over the discounted price of this pre-built. While you're getting some proprietary components and maybe not the most aesthetic PC it still appears to be a great value.

I used the Dell 10% off discount for a first purchase I believe.

Does this have slots to install additional M2 SSDs?
Slots to add new memory?
PCIE slots?

How easy or difficult does Alienware make to add new hardware to the motherboard (in terms of driver support)?

They are usually difficult. They have odd sized power supplies. Proprietary plugs.and the front i/o is right on the board. So once u change out the mobo... goes all your front iO
