Glad you said subscription required. I been using the Tapo C200 recently and I've been happy with it. No subscription.

These look like wyze cam. Can you reflash or use wyze app to connect?

can someone elaborate on the "subscription required" part. I see it comes with 90 days sub. Will they stop working unless you keep paying?

Not only that but the 90 day included is listed as "when you sign up for single cam plan? and yet you're buying a 2 pack.

Confusing

My mom has a different Roku security camera and it works without the subscription, she just only has access to a live feed and no recordings if she doesn't have an active subscription. No idea if this camera is the same but it likely is.

I'm thinking subscription is required for premium features like cloud recording etc.
Post may just be poorly worded

these will work perfectly fine for my needs. Confirmed no subscription is required. Unless you need premium features.

The problem is these don't work half of the time. I have 3 of them and the amount of time the signal drops on them even when they are 5 feet from an access point is insane. I also own the same model Wyze cameras which these are basically the same thing with Roku firmware on them and the Wyze cameras work all of the time. Roku just never updates the firmware on these. Do some google searches and look on reddit and you will see nothing but people having terrible problems with these cameras. I wish I could flash the Wyze firmware onto them.

you wouldn't buy them at this price for the 2 pack knowing what you know now?

I would not take them if they were free. I am a network engineer and these things are just crap plain and simple. I would spend a little bit more and get some actual Wyze brand cameras that are actively supported.

Do these have the SD card slot like the wyze cams? They allow local recording
