In store price is $130 but sold under brand name Bayside with item# 1695437. Online uses different name still manufactured by bayside.

Sams club also has the similar one for $100 which is comparable to this in terms of sturdiness and quality

Also anyone that has the Kallax, check out the Kallax base for $30. It really does look a bit nicer in many situations, and worth the $30.

It has different color options so the item codes will be different for each option. The warehouse code will be a single one for all options.


Would be nice if they included the warehouse item code on the web page.

I remember Sam's used to sell this for 89.99$. Post pandemic the price got raised to 100$. It is quite sturdy and high quality with superb reviews over many years.

Correct they are not included. They do sell them for ~$3 or $4 each. (https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/kosi...-90514910/)

OP's bins are not worth the extra $50 vs the Kallax

Seems like the newer reviews mentioned decreased quality of the unit. I might have to go to IKEA to see for myself, but that does sound disappointing.

I was impressed with the Ikea Kallax. It's a lot more flexible with their other systems and you can and drawers, doors, underframe, and easily mix/match with other Kallax items. You can even add a table. It looks really similar to the Costco one. Putting it togeather it does seem very sturdy but the screw heads are exposed. They don't come with stickers to cover the screw heads.
