I was in my local target store today and saw they had a 55 inch Westinghouse Roku television on sale for 84.99. The sale started today but they only had the floor model. I was able to get two in S Plainfield, NJ for the same price. The online link is for reference. The DCPI # is 008-09-0064. I used my target card and saved an additional 5% and there was an offer on target circle to get a $10 gift card when you are over $100. Reviews aren't great but for this price I'm going to put it in my garage.

Yeah it's $84.99 everywhere currently, stock is very ymmv though. Edison has 1 and so does union, but I think they count their displays
Any of the stores that show just one in stock are listing that they only have the display unit and they will not sell it. This is something we were told by multiple locations this weekend when we went on the hunt for one to use as a workout TV in the basement.

We have checked all around Metro Detroit and the stores that have more than one in stock show it at normal price and will not match the other stores that have it for $89.99 unfortunately.

I just got one from a local Detroit location. Brickseek said they had one, so I took a shot. I went to the store and asked the associate. She scanned the barcode and said there was one in back (so the inventory that said 1 did not include the floor model). She came back with it on the flatbed and commented on how cheap it was (she scanned it in the back). I was thankful that she didn't just keep it for herself and come back and say they're OOS.

Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I couldn't pass it up.

There is nothing to match, all stores are $84.99, provided you are looking at the correct model. Go to the price checker and type in the DPCI if you are unsure.

This is the only store that shows 2, it is $85:

Disposing of these things after failure is a huge annoyance for me. I've had a JVC sitting in my yard for 6 months bc the landfill that accepts this is in BFE, 1 hour away.

Luckily we have a yearly cleanup where the city comes through and picks up large items including electronics.

I bought one westinghouse TV over a decade ago now, I won't buy another one no matter how cheap it is.

I just picked one up, thanks OP. I paid full price online for store pickup and when i got to store i did the pickup/return/buy again thing and no issues at all. I even had a $15 target circle code to make this even sweeter.
Nice! Can you do everything (pickup/return/buy) at the same pickup counter with the same employee?

The tag will show as $250 but scan at 85. First step is scan this barcode off your phone at a price checker and make sure it rings $85. https://barcode.live/?upc=813784022737 Then try to find one.

Ty op picked one up for $85, had to get employee grab it from the back.

I ordered the last one locally for pick up (will try to return and rebuy) but those reviews are shockingly bad.

The store I went to had a sale tag on display for 85, but none on the floor. I asked them and they went in back and got me one. Pretty good deal for a second tv for my garage.

The reviews aren't great not least because these have a very high failure rate. How cheap is cheap enough for a TV to last 18 months and then require you to dispose of it because it's out of warranty and not worth fixing?

I've never thrown away a Hisense tv, I've thrown away 3 LG before they were 2 years old (and a $2000 fridge WITH a warranty)
