Man I got a 1000+ games in my steam account and I've maybe paid for 1/4th of them and even then most were bundle purchases. And I still keep playing the same 4-5 games since 2011.
Well time to add another set of free games. What am I gonna do? NOT add free games to my steam account?
I'm the game dev for Reborn, and it feels a bit surreal seeing it here - thanks for including it! It's absolutely a work in progress early access game, but I hope some of you will give it a try!

Just think, how awesome of a collection of games you can pass down to whomever, (son, daughter, niece, nephew, raffle or giveaway to pay for funeral expenses?) from your will, in the future!
Dude, they'll think you were the coolest person in their life to do such an amazing thing for them.
Just make sure to leave them your passwords to ALL your accounts in the will. Also remind them to not change your load outs or delete your game saves in case you want to play them later. 😉
The original game was paid game then it was turned free to play before the developers shut down the servers because it was not making any profits.
They eventually released a DRM free pc version with private servers but let's just say, you had to go out of your way to get it. Also PC only. Now they made it much easier since it's back on steam, same private server version but now easily accessible through steam store.
This is excellent for those who like steam integration and ease of access.
I have not tried it but man the game is so much fun with friends online. I met and made some friends before it the F2P version got shut down.

Thanks for the info, played a bit on switch was a fun game. Good to see its back on steam. I am assuming only steam/pc version have the private servers?

Exactly. Only PC version works with private servers. PS4/XB and Switch not available due to their closed environments. Still, this is awesome that it survived as a Stand alone version for preservation purposes.

You might appreciate SteamDB's list of free packages. If you install their browser extension or ArchiSteamFarm, it can automatically activate them for you, otherwise you can paste commands into the steam console every ~90 minutes (annoying) or visit them one at a time (extremely tedious and time consuming): https://steamdb.info/freepackages/
Note that SteamDB has you sign in via Steam to get the list of games. This is standard OpenID, and it's safe, it only provides SteamDB with your account ID (note that the address bar actually is steam's domain, and it doesn't request that another service gains access to your account). The SteamDB browser extension and ArchiSteamFarm are different; they have full access to your account, including (technically) the ability to impersonate you to make purchases and other activities. This is not generally safe if you don't trust these tools; SteamDB and ArchiSteamFarm are fairly well known tools, I trust them both with my account, but if you choose not to you can still activate packages using the actual steam software by using the developer console; the link on SteamDB page will have steam open the console for you, but you'll need to run commands regularly to activate everything due to Steam's API limitations (described on the same page). Alternatively, you can individually visit the pages for each free package to claim it.
----------
If you've activated too many items and wish to deactivate them and remove them from your games list, you can do so at your account settings on the licenses page: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
