It's not to protect you. It's because American drone manufacturer's cannot compete due to higher price and shittier product. So they lobbied the politicians to ban DJI. Lobbying is how most things are done at the Capitol.

how did they geofence your drones? no drone can operate in their park or all just drop dead once they take off?
