Had one, good multimedia tablet wouldn't recommend it for anything else. Yes the Amazon Toolbox does help but lots of apps from Play don't work or have weird bugs and notifications are a complete or hit or miss.

Decently spec'd budget tablet hamstrung by terrible OS.

Did anyone who got one check the OS version before toolboxing? I wonder if Amazon loads on the latest versions on these refurbs which mess with Google Services?
