Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Will Straight Talk charge my credit card automatically if I don't use their prepaid services after 30 days? It appears the credit card information is saved in their system. I intend to activate and use the service for 30 days, then wait 60 days before unlocking the phone to use on the AT&T network.

Does esim neccessarily mean simultaneously dual sim use?
You can have both the pSIM and eSIM in "standby" mode ready to receive an incoming call, but there can only be one on-going call at a time. You need to designate either the pSIM or the eSIM as the default Primary SIM for outgoing calls, but you can switch that designation anytime.

I don't have this Moto G Power 2024, but that's how it works on my Metro Moto Razr and Metro Moto G Stylus 5G 2023.

so you can get it to unock with only the 45 dollar cost and not pay for a second month?

most likely not. all the carrier ones are usually locked.
I have bought a single months plan and activated several phones with that single plan. I was still able to unlock all the phone.

Note that in this case you are required to buy a plan with each phone so you would not be able to do this with this deal.

Looks like it has 8GB RAM as per GSM Arena
Motorola Moto G Power (2024) - Full phone specifications (gsmarena.com) [gsmarena.com]
Usually the specs they show are for unlocked phones, not the locked branded versions. You need to verify specs on each carrier's website since their branded version will sometimes be different.

ST website does confirm 8gb ram.

If you didn't select auto pay there won't be a charge.
Do not assume AT&T will allow activation without verifying model number first - they have a pretty restrictive list of phones they will accept & this one may not be included.

Can someone please tell me how this compares to a galaxy s21? Hoping to get my dad a new phone. But not sure if this would be an upgrade or not. His phone no longer gets software updates.

This phone will be a downgrade compared to the S21 in a lot of ways. The Snapdragon 888 on the S21 is a quite bit faster than the Mediatek Dimensity 7020 on this. S21 also has an OLED screen compared to IPS. Likely worse cameras on the moto g power too.

Only pros for moto g power is a larger screen size, 6.7 vs 6.2, esim support, and probably better battery life due to larger 5000mah battery vs 4000 on the S21.
