Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I think this will be a 4GB RAM model. Cricket wireless sells a 4GB version of this. I think all MVNO selling this at a discount are doing the 4GB one.

Says 8GB on their website.

The Cricket phone is the Moto G 5G 2024.

The Straight Talk phone is the Moto G Power 5G 2024.

Two different models.

btw: this youtube video reviewed the straighttalk version and the specs screen shows it is only 4GB https://imgur.com/a/9TViJ5a

Not the same year. The one in the YT video is the 2023 model. The one in this thread is the 2024 model.

Is auto-refill easy to disable? Wondering if it's worth the $2.50 discount.

I've not needed to contact support in the past since the phones activated between brands online. Will let you know if this is the same, going to activate mine (on TF) later today - just waiting on UPS.
Please do and would like to hear your thoughts on the phone. Ordered mine yesterday. Thanks

Will do, want to see how it compares to 2023 Moto Stylus (from Metro deal) that I'm using on TF now.

Well, it is my fault... I can't make decisions these days, had hours and hours to pull the trigger last night. Didn't do it... on me.
