Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

How's the reception/modem/signal strength on this phone? My Pixel 6a always get zero to one bar while my Nokia 2.3 gets max bar.

Does anyone know how long I can take to activate? Will probably just activate one and activate the other next month.
If it's like phones sold by other Tracfone sub-brands (Tracfone, Total, etc) you have up to a year to activate it with the included airtime.

Actually, I'm a Dealaholic and not a Phone Addict. My phone sits idle on the couch most of the time, I use Tracfone which deducts minutes/texts/data from their buckets and I typically use less than 100 minutes/150 texts/100MB a month. I'm on my laptop computer a lot though, but that's a habit from having worked with computers for 35 years (1977 to 2012). I'm not a person who likes to attend social gatherings or the outdoors. I used to fly a small plane as a hobby, but had to give it up a few years ago. Being retired with lots of time on my hands, I enjoy spending time on SD looking for deals, and on another site where people discuss financial deals.
Piper by any chance? Have a little time in a SC, miss it.

Actually, one iPhone12 and six iPhone11's (two from Metro, four from Total). But I don't use iPhones and will sell them all, so I don't count them among my "usable phones".

Ordered on the 11th. Just received back ordered delay email.
Ordered on the 12th and received shipping email today although no delivery date set yet in UPS.

No rhyme nor reason to their madness.

Lost count of all the 11's I've sold this past year - paid for the other phones I've bought though. Too bad the Rewards program doesn't pay back like it used to.

By now the SD effect has to have them overwhelmed, I expect shipping to become extremely slow for awhile.

Way ahead of me on the IP11 deals. Fortunately I was one of the lucky sprint customers who was able to get 2 unlimited lines for $20TI. So I don't need service. My wife prefers verizon ( we're in a fringe tmo reception area) and is on the phone a lot with WFH. I moved her to mobilex with unlimited T&T and 1gb of data for around $10. She can add data if she needs it but any unused data is refunded back. Been working great so far. She was on V postpaid previously. Stay Cool my friend.

I have bought a single months plan and activated several phones with that single plan. I was still able to unlock all the phone.

Note that in this case you are required to buy a plan with each phone so you would not be able to do this with this deal.

How were you able to reuse the monthly plan to unlock multiple phone . I have two laying around from past deals purchased with no plan and if possible to unlock them also after getting one of these phones with one month paid plan .

I know walmart activates the plan the minute you purchase and pay at the terminal. Can I repurpose the same sim to the prior phone and get them unlocked also . Been waiting for the tracfone 1 month 30 min/30 day plan for 10 bucks but not available anymore .

Could you share tips for ordering those iP11s?

If you have a new SIM, no plan necessary, it's as simple as clicking the activate link on the website.

I have had mixed results reusing the same SIM depending on CSR's, and wasted several hours so I don't even bother anymore and just get a new sim... or use an old sim that is no longer active
