Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Right after activating my 2nd phone, I just clicked on the phones and selected it, added to cart and choose the $45.00 plan and saw that the phone was free and the plan went down to $15.00. So I added another phone and added the $45.00 plan again and again the phone was free and the 2nd plan went down to $10.00.
Go back and try for #5.

No go for me.

Ordered it today, if it don't arrive by Friday I'll have to cancel my order.
They were sending out backordered emails earlier today so not likely - and they don't allow cancellations, you'll have to return it.

Qlink caps speed at 1Mbps its pretty horrible service. Compared to other Lifeline Providers. Safelink is Tracfones Lifeline Provider it was just increased to 10GB Data this month.
Im trying to get approval for my brother. So you're saying safelink is the way to go?

Airtalk is best one they give you free iphone or samsung it lets you pick.

But with Safelink it uses same network as Tracfone so any used locked Tracfone/ST/Total phones Activate with $1 Tracfone BYOP sim

if buy new tracfone branded phone at walmart or tracfone websites they include the sim and still unlock at 60 days on safelink.

Besides choosing one that provides more monthly allocation, try to find one that allows using your own phone. Some providers require you to use the crappy free phone that they gave you, or buy one from them at an outrageous price. Assurance Wireless use to do that when they were owned by Virgin Mobile. But they now allow BYOP after T-mo bought them.

I bought 2 phones with 2 new numbers (sim cards are already installed when I receive the phones). After activation, 2 lines (the 2 new phone numbers) are displayed under my straighttalk online account

Ater 60 days when I sell 1 phone, other than removing the sim card, is there anything else I need to do to remove the device from my account and plan?

If safelink sends him a sim, I have an unlocked metro moto stylus 2023. That should work. Also good to know it will work with this locked power phone as well.

Thank you both for the tips!
