Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

This is from the Walmart website. I have a $350 Samsung phone that only has 6 gb so it doesn't make sense that a free phone has 8 gb.

They may be talking about the additional virtual memory when they use RAM Boost to get the 8 gb figure, but that isn't the same as real RAM.

I don't have the phone in hand so I can't be sure either way, sorry.

Been reported numerous times that Walmart website is incorrect - read specs on Straight Talk website, amount of ram is not in question.

If you're not going to read the information provided here by people that have the phone in their hands (& have been using it for over a week), maybe you shouldn't be posting because all you're doing is providing misinformation & there's already been more than enough of that.

So, you don't own this phone?

It's the ability to take breathtaking photos on your moto g Power 5G's 50MP1 Quad Pixel main camera with an 8MP Macro+ Ultra-Wide Angle lens. Then, show us your power-pose for your 16MP Ultra Pixel selfie cam. It's experiencing incredible speed with its MediaTek Dimensity 7020 5G processor and 8GB of built-in RAM - expandable up to 16GB with RAM Boost2. And with a 6.7-in FHD+ 120Hz display3, the moto g Power 5G will show you a refresh rate so powerful, it'll leave you speechless. But what's "Power" without a powerful battery? Not only does the moto g Power 5G have a long-lasting 5000mAh battery4, get back to 100% even faster with 30W TurboPower charging5.

As Benny G92 said, the Unlocking site will display the instructions and unlocking codes if the phone needs to be unlocked manually by keying in codes. However, the info in the Unlocking Policy says phones sold after June 2023 are capable of getting unlocked automatically. I know someone on Howard Forums who had their Samsung A03s phones (bought after June 2023) unlocked automatically.

Below is a screenshot of the unlocking instructions and codes for one of my older phones.
Did you have to enter both those unlock codes in succession or pressing enter in between the 2 codes?

It's been a while so I don't remember if you need to hit Return after the 1st line or it automatically prompts you for the 2nd line after you've entered all the numbers of the 1st line. Anyway, SOMETIMES TF provides the codes in the wrong sequence (listing the 2nd line first). If you entered the 1st line and get the message "Invalid Code", try entering them in reverse order.

Also, if the phone is a Samsung phone, you need to use the Samsung Phone app (green phone icon) to dial the #TFUNLOCK# string. The Google Phone app (blue phone icon) won't bring up the screen to enter the unlock codes.

You can buy two per account. The 2nd one even gets a discount on the cost of the plan.

It's a big YMMV, but I was able to order a 3rd and 4th off my account. I activated my 2nd to my account and then tried 3 & 4 and it worked.

Just decided to order a second from my first activated account after playing with the phone for a bit. Hopefully the 3rd and 4th lines will be available afterwards as well

It's certainly a big YMMV because other forum members couldn't duplicate what you did.

I also can order a 3rd with discounted plan and free phone. (would average $32.11 for each of my phones)
It's $16.88 for my 3rd but 4th is only a discounted plan, no free phone.

makes no sense that some can order more than 2 but then as many of us know it's always YMMV with this company, they're very inconsistent.

They took my $ for the 3rd but who knows if it will ship or get cancelled, sometimes they correct their mistakes later.
