Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Not sure if someone can answer this for me. Is it absolutely necessary that I text UNLOCK to 611611 when I activate the phone or is that just to get the unlock date. Can I unlock the phone by just submitting this form in 60 days. https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/wps/portal/home. I won't have the phone with me in those 30 days after activation.
No need to text. Just wait 61 days after activation and then submit the unlock request on their website like you stated.

Tracking won't start until UPS has the package. Lately UPS seems to be slow in picking up and delivering packages.
Ups is the worst and most overpaid delivery services. The more they get paid the worse the service.

Don't get me started, same with FedEx and USPS, it seems the more they get unionized and overpaid, the worst their service get.

My metro unlocked Stylus 5G 2023 does not pass the ATT check. XT2315-1 and it is on the accepted list.

In which case I would argue that and force them to whitelist it. It has to be possible. Our old buddy on reddit was able to do it when sprint was around.

My Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 did not pass the AT&T IMEI checker.

So I listed it as:

For T-Mobile & Verizon only. Not for AT&T.

I'm befuddled why some of these did pass the AT&T IMEI checker & some didn't.
Quote from hpham_53 :
1. If the same IMEI didn't pass before but now passes, it's possbile that AT&T added its IMEI to their database (that happened with my Metro A54). I haven't had an IMEI that passed before but now doesn't.
2. When were your unlocked and locked Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 made? Somehow the older ones (bought and activated last year) don't pass the AT&T Checker.
FWIW: I tossed a spare, active RP/GSMA sim into my unlocked Metro G Stylus 5G 2023 and it seems to be working. Purchased the Stylus back in Sept, it failed ATT's IMEI checker in Jan and also failed today. *Briefly flashed a "limited compatibility" message on the Notification panel but I couldn't fully read it and couldn't duplicate it.
If I decide to continue keeping an RP sim in it, it's good enough for me as a secondary line. My current secondary line is a non-whitelisted TF Moto e (XT2052DL), also on RP/GSMA (since Aug 2022).

Update:
Tried RP's compatibility checker [redpocket.com]with both the (MetroPCS) 2022 and 2023 Stylus - and some other old Tracfones on hand

I've said it before...using a swapped-in SIM on a phone that a provider deems Incompatible is OK until the provider decides that it's not OK and takes adverse action. Do it at the risk of losing your service. Makes no difference to me.

UPS is perfect for me. 2nd Day Air on Thursday. What seems to be the problem?

UPS can't start shipping the phone until Straight Talk hands it over to UPS.

You people that constantly talk trash of the "overpaid" delivery guys wouldn't last a week doing it 90% of the time... Have you ever seen the back of one of their trucks in the morning? Have you ever brought a 100lb package up 3 flights of stairs to apartments when it is 100 degrees out? The corporations are the issue piling too much work on the guys and expecting 200 stops a day and seconds per delivery... You have no idea what you are talking about. The corporations expect more and more every year and the guys are forced to cut corners to keep the good pay..

I know drivers work hard and deserve to be compensated, but $170K/year is a very good salary for all those sacrifices mentioned above.
I'm complaining about the whole logistics, not just the drivers. I remember not long ago when a delivery person would ring the doorbell and wait at the door, for you to pick up the package, now days they treat packages like garbage, take a picture and runaway, no matter if the package is valued at $1 or $1000 and requires a signature.

Got my 2 today. I had already activated them online. I can't add another line though. It says to call in.
