Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

When I click on "select line" there was no IMIEs so had to click on Activate in far right corner and there both phones were shown with Activate underneath.

Once did that saw IMIEs and instructions to set up phone... obviously could not as yet to get phones.

Note that once activate the monthly plan starts even though yet to receive phones so just a heads up in case someone wants to use plan.

Activated one phone so can unlock earlier and left one phone unactivated so can use full plan.

Anyone get phone covers and screen protectors?
That's been noted in the wiki as well. Amazon

I believe it's 2 phones per household/credit card. If I order another 2 phones and ship to a different address, would that work or would it get cancel.

It's 2 discounted phones per account (unless the site allows you more due to a glitch). You can create a 2nd account using a different email, different name, credit card under that name, same shipping address. I did that with Total-by-Verizon iPhone11 deals, created accounts for me and my wife, had 4 phones shipped to same address.

Thanks. I ordered 2 last week under my name/email/credit card and tried this morning under my wife name/email/credit card and 3 hours later it was cancelled because of payment. Credit card issues.

Same shipping address? Probably that why.

Yes, same shipping address. I wonder if that's the reason They told me payment issue. Someone a few posts above apparently order more than 2 to same shipping address.

Same address doesn't necessarily mean cancellation. The iPhone11 deal from Total-by-Verizon (a sister company of Straight Talk) also has a limit of 2 discounted phones per person. But my wife and I have 2 separate accounts and each ordered 2 phones. We got 4 phones shipped to the same address. But, with TF and their sub-brands things are always YMMV. (The 3 other iPhones in the picture are from Metro).

Disable mobile services through settings - applications
Does this uninstall the bloatware?

Sounds kind of scary "Mobile Services". Like the phone won't work afterwards.

No it doesn't. But on setup of phone if you do nothing it'll burn just shy of 2GB downloading the bloat. It'll show up in data usage.

Login to your account once you get shipment notification. Go to manage lines. You should see 'select line'. Under that there should be IMIEs listed where you can select and activate after entering your preferred zip.
Thanks!
