Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

You need to have active service to earn points, if you didn't buy another month it's unlikely rewards will post. Tracfone & Total have same requirement.
its still allows you to earn points with inactive line but they might not release them.

You can "earn" all you want, they just won't post to account without active service. Read fine print under rewards policy.

If they follow the same TF policy, default line/account must stay active for over 60 days. My service will expire next week, and they have a 1GB data plan for 500 points, I don't know if I could use the phone for data only will that be valid to keep the account active.
As long as you have service time it would qualify. (can't buy data only add-on)

Hi, can someone check if their phone works with Spectrum? I read the description it'll work with almost all carriers, but Spectrum seems finicky with what they approve of.

Will the phone unlock if I rest the phone? I sent the phone out of the country but before that I reset the phone. Any data point if it is going to impact the unlock process?

Thanks for checking. Unfortunate Spectrum is so trash when it comes to this type of thing.

I have disabled about 60 packages and my phone is working fine--I am not missing any functionality that I care about. But evaluate yourself whether you want to disable all the same packages (or more or less of them). Here is what I am using (read the README worksheet for more details about what I did):

Thank You!!! do you have something like this exists for Samsung A54; our family has two A54 and would like to remove all the unwanted stuff, because if I just uninstall the ones I could, it automatically gets installed again.

He didn't just give you a fish, he also taught you how to fish.
Read the README tab. He did leave out the first 3 steps.

Code:
adb start-server
adb devices
adb -s your_device_serial shell
pm list packages -e | sort
You could also do
Code:
adb -d shell
instead of the 2nd and 3rd steps if there's only one phone attached to your computer. adb would complain if there's ambiguity anyway.

Then
Code:
pm disable-user bloatware_name
the
Code:
&& pm clear bloatware_name
is optional but not a bad idea to clear any cached data the app stored.

Just be careful. Not everything is bloat.

Just checked my G Power did pass Visible IMEI checker. It failed before.
Mine passed Visible as well. I'm curious as to why other Verizon MVNOs like Total Wireless and others won't accept phones that literally runs on the same network.

Thanks and appreciate your input. I was looking for packages to disable in Samsung A54, I can try to figure out myself by the names, but that would be risky. Hence thought if someone already done the leg work then I could use that as a starting point. BTW, bloatware from Total By Verizon is even worse than Metro; I know this thread is for Straight talk, but straight talk is also part of the same Trackfone company, so you can expect the same bloatware here too.

Lots of bloatware is mentioned in reviews for the unlocked version of the G Power too, so it's not just in the ST/Total/TF branded phones, it's something new from Motorola.

com.tracfone.preload.accountservices is device pulse app bloatware they install on these phones. Some devices won't let you delete or uninstall it from ADB

Device Pulse is still a pretty minor app though in terms of bloatware.

"Mobile Services" is the key app that needs to be uninstalled along with any corresponding apps and games it might have installed. It used to be called something else like "DTIGNITE" but they rebadged it to "Mobile Services" to make it sound more innocuous. That's super scammy.
