Thankfully, I believe bootlogo does not plays the part of functionality. Just as I can use Tmobile SIM with unlocked Tracfone w/ Tracfone bootlogo.
my 2 doesn't even have tracfone bootscreen only motorola appears. Sticker on back of phone doesn't even say Tracfone wireless on this Moto like the older models.

only mention of tracfone is under about phone software channel.

Gentleman, how to you go into TF Unlock menu with this phone????

Previously, other than iphone, one just dail #TFUNLOCK# / #83865625# and the Unlock menu will pop out to have you enter 1st set of unlock-code.

For this phone, it just said, [Device is SIM LOCKED.] So, where do I enter unlock code?

Been mentioned that this newest model android may automatically unlock (like iPhones) but it hasn't been 60 days since the deal came out so no one knows the specific unlock procedure yet.

You should get a msg stating Straight talk is now Verizon or something similar..... in theory the unlock process may apply as follow.

https://en-us.support.motorola.co...ic-carrier

Verizon: In most cases, newly purchased devices will be locked to Verizon's networks for a certain amount of time after purchase.
This rule applies to both postpaid and prepaid devices, and the lock will be automatically removed after reaching that time.

So is Straight Talk Verizon only now? I had thought they used all three networks depending on
where you lived. Just curious.

The phones they ship tracfone verizon. But you can get T-Mobile/Verizon Tracfone BYOP DUAL SIM KIT from Target/Bestbuy under the flap it shows SIM A and SIM B

November 2024 they are supposed to be moving everyone to Verizon network on Tracfone/Straight Talk/Total if using different carrier sim.

Thanks for asking this question, I've wondered this as well.

Thanks for the info. I am with Tello now and hope to move this phone to them after
the 60 days.

Well after all the problems trying to get this deal and realizing Straight Talk's website
doesn't play nice with Firefox, I got the phone ordered yesterday evening and recieved
tracking information this morning.

We'll see how long the shipping takes but that was
extremely fast compared to what I have read on here.
I used Firefox and it worked completely fine. What version of Firefox were you using and what OS ?

The most current, I update whenever new one comes out. I think it is because I have ublock origin locking it down quite a bit. I did disable that and it still gave a lot of errors. Oh in windows 10 and Linux Mint 21.3 both, I dual boot for different things.

The issue does not seem to be Firefox but whatever else you are running and the most current one as of when ?

Updates are not sent to everyone at the same time they are delayed so one person could be up to date while someone else has a just gotten an update. It shows the version in the settings menu.

I used it on Windows and Mac OS and didn't not encounter any problems

Haha.. yea i get it, I'm an old IT head, plenty of computer knowledge just don't do it much these days. In Linux Mint now, which I still get errors on Straight Talks website, Firefox is version
128.0.3.

Does anyone have terrible charging speeds on these phones? Both of mine seem to max out at 10watts no matter what charger I use. And it's not the cables or charger as they charge my other android phones much quicker. Also I turned off all power saving features from settings already
