When was the last time you bought one from BB? Did it have the QR code on the packaging?

Surprised to hear that. I thought they had all been replaced with the new packaging.

Last night, after completing the online activation process and booting my 3rd phone(which I ordered on June 24), I tried to make a call and send a message. Unfortunately, both actions failed. When attempting to make a call, I received an automated voice message stating, "the number you have dialed has calling restrictions." Similarly, when sending a text message, I received an automated reply stating, "text messaging service has been denied."
I got confused and don't know how to fix this.
Try adding "+1" in front of the number you are calling.

Wondering about the unlock, I believe I read that there is no option to enter a code. That would mean that the unlock would happen automatically/remotely. Would I need to be in the USA for unlock to happen or just connected to wifi. Thanks.

you don't have to be in the US but you need to connect to a network which can access the straight talk server.
You definitely can't unlock the phone in North Korea without using a VPN.

I brought this from straighttalk website 2 for $75 plus taxes and fees. Definitely a step up from from last year. Saw a review on this and I guess it is okay.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYDfpBV-Ywk

Pros.
8gb memory/ 128 of storage, double from last year.
decent Stereo Speakers
Okay 2xA78 and 6xA55 soc
NFC
30w charging

Cons
Medocre camera
Even though it has an 1080p IPS 120hz display, the viewing angles are not good

I ordered 2 phones. used one for a month.
Can I activate phone #2 and then swap the sim card into phone #1

or would that affect the unlock? trying to avoid setting up a phone all over again.

Dunno why you got thumbed down but I have the same question.

Like if we actually want to use the 2-months worth of service, can we do it for $75. Smilie

(The kickstand won't come out but it's not a big deal for me because I don't use it anyways)
