Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I regret getting this phone and I will give it to my friend after it is unlocked. The screen is not good and it is sluggish. I should spend $110 more to get reconditioned iphone 12 instead and it can be used for trade in for pixel 9 for free now.
This phone is a "free" grade mid-level, you can't compare it to a high tier phone that cost $200+ more

Where are you seeing this activation and deactivation history? On your account page on the Straight Talk website?

Thanks!
Yes, it shows on the ST website

Bought two of these that were supposed to unlock 8/12-13 with no luck. Tried WiFi, cellular changing the SIM cards between the two, etc. Still LOCKED. Only paid for one month and I don't feel like calling. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Joining the locked phone club. Unlock date was suppose to be yesterday and I turned it on today but no dice. I did get the terminated service message though.

I'll try calling the number on Monday. From my last experience, the customer service is a joke but maybe someone here can find the right person or the process to unlock it.

Those people that couldn't unlock their phones:
When did you buy it?
When did you activate it?
Did you buy one phone or 2 phones? If you bought 2, did you bought both in one transaction?
Did you keep the phone ON most of the time during the 30 days of service?
Did you use ADB Command to Uninstall something?
Did you remove its original sim card And put in another sim card during the 30 days of service?

And… did you connect to WIFI for it to unlock? I doubt it'll be able to unlock without any data access

I've had mine on wifi for weeks, the problem isn't with us - it's with ST. I know how it's supposed to work (unlocked both phones & androids previously). Ive tried everything including several factory resets, different Sim etc., & I did not do anything unusual. (That's why I reset, I had disabled a bunch of apps).
My first GPower was ordered on 10th from website, and activated on 13th. (2nd one was ordered online later & it's not due to unlock till 22nd). Text evening of 12th showed first phone was eligible to unlock, no change since - it's still locked.
Only unusual thing is my acct for the first phone shows a deactivation and reactivation (which I did not do) one day after it was first activated.
Has to be a glitch in their system that messed up the unlock.

Thanks! I am seeing an activation that matches the date I activated, and a deactivation one month later (i.e. when my 1-month service ran out). I still have about 2 weeks until I reach my 60 days.

That's what it should show.

Thank you. Sorry to hear about your glitched extra "reactivation". Hope it gets sorted out by early next week.

Agree -
From past experience if support gives you the unlocking runaround FCC complaint may be the best option - at least it gets you a callback from higher level support that will actually try to fix it.

Great! Looks like it's just a few early activations having issues - hopefully that's it.

What's better, this Moto G Power or Samsung A14?
