Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"
People, it's 1 month of service only for unlock.
Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

That's great news since this is a new "V" model. Pretty sure it would but still nice to get a confirmation.

What are the pros and cons of having phone on account or deleting them?
Looks like he plans to sell or give the plans to someone else. If they remain on his account, the new phone owners will be limited to buying plans, making changes, etc., by phone. They won't be able to do any of it online.

I keep getting temp security codes from the guy who bought my phone on eBay when he adds data.

Similar results here. Each paid for 1 month of service.

#1- due to unlock tomorrow the 17th.. It unlocked today. Also received a 'your service will terminate soon text' yesterday.

#2 due to unlock on the 18th. Received the same terminate soon text today. Should unlock tomorrow.

Also, I inserted a freedompop/redpocket ATT sim in the unlocked phone and calls and data works fine. No APN setup required. So we can safely say these are unlocked for all networks.

Hey Oregon, did your phone receive that text? R U still locked?
Still locked. curious why they sent "service will terminate soon" message though, with only one month service it should have ended a month ago.
I do remember getting a similar text when my 30 days ran out weeks ago but nothing this week.

I am now being told by support that my phone needs 1 more day of service before it can be unlocked. They have a $10 plan available for 7 days of service.

That's BS. Support doesn't know what they're talking about - there's no specific requirement for unlock, just activation. If that were true no one else would be able to get their phone auto unlocked, they purchased the same plan as you.
This is why so many hate dealing with customer support and avoid it, it's absolutely frustrating.

Are there unlock instructions anywhere or do you actually have to call the #?

You shouldn't have to do anything with auto unlock phones - if yours works as it's supposed to.

"Customer service" only want you to get off their behind. So they would tell you anything. Even though it could hurt/cost you.

My phones showed locked status this morning:

Original sims in place.
Airplane mode off.
Wi-Fi on.
restarted phones and both unlocked.
Only paid for 1 month service on each.

FYI - there's definitely an issue with my phone/account because it shows phone activation date, then 1 day later a deactivation, then 1 day later a reactivation, then a final deactivation when plan expired.
I never deactivated or did anything with account/phone - and was never notified of any activity (they usually send txt or email).
Has to be a ST system glitch and might be what screwed up the unlock in some way.

Both of mine unlocked today as well. Initially one showed unlocked and the other didn't. Rebooted that one and it immediately showed unlocked.

Tried using one to get the free 15 day e-sim trial on Visible that doesn't requiring giving a credit card and it works fine. Speeds are just as slow as Straight Talk though, around 20 mbps down and 2 mbps up.

Yeah, that's messed up. What about your other line? It should just show deactivated one month and one day after activation.

That's the standard reminder msg, deleted it 5 weeks ago when plan expired.
