My phone was activated on 6/14, and I am having the same problem (Phone locked. I contacted CS, who said that their systems show the phone is. unlocked and told me to contact Motorola. Motorola says only ST can unlock the phone)

I contacted the FCC. I just filled out the questionnaire at
consumercomplaintsDOTfccDOTgov

Hopefully they will contact me soon.
Yup.. I have same issue.. hopefully FCC can resolve the issue.

All FCC does is forward the request to ST support. ST/TF/Total has a dept that handles FCC complaints & FCC will follow up later to verify if issue was resolved.

Data point. Unlocked today no problem.

Bummer some aren't as they should.

Switched over to it because it's a little newer than the 2022 stylus 5g. Seems about the same minus the stylus and slightly newer OS. Do like the back plastic better but it doesn't matter since it's in a case.

Glad it's LCD. Seems like a little less eye strain, maybe the panel does dithering in some slightly different way. The stylus didn't bug me, but this one seems just a little smoother. Maybe it's just a newer screen. Totally fine with it and glad there's an LCD option like this.

I got 5 3 different accounts, 3 diff emails, 2 addresses.

Sold 3 for $80 each. Waiting for 2 to unlock and maybe sell 1 of them for $100 and keep 1.

Likely both still show locked, like mine. Everytime someone calls they're getting a different excuse. Motorola isn't the problem - we bought the phone from ST and the network lock/unlock is controlled by ST.
I wonder what the account shows online for people not getting their phones unlocked. You had activated, deactivated, activated and deactivated. That probably had something to do with it.

BOTH phones are still LOCKED. It's been well over 65-70 days by now.

Both activated on same day at a Walmart location.

I had used both phones. They could make calls and receive data.

I even got a confirmation that my phone is ready to be unlocked by texting UNLOCK to 611611.

Just filed an FCC complaint. So let's see what happens.

Except I didn't deactivate it - read my post more carefully. They did it - or at least the website shows it - but there was no notification of anything.

Yes, I understand that you didn't deactivate the line. ST did. I wonder if others who aren't getting unlocking codes also had their account deactivated at one point. Hope it works out for you. Mine is not for another few weeks.

Called ST for the second time this morning. This rep had me dial the #886.. (can't remember) code to show the unlock status screen. Still showed Locked. They then told me to perform a factory reset, then dial the #886... code, and it is suppose to show a screen asking for an unlock code.

I requested for the unlock code in the same call but they refused saying I have to call back to do that. They claimed a ticket will have to be filed to get the unlock code.

I then downloaded the activity launcher app to see if I can either trigger the unlock or get the unlock code screen to show. I could only find the Unlock Menu activity which is the same as dialing the #886... What's interesting is after launching and closing the activity, a second activity appears called Status. The status activity screen asks for a status password so possibly, an unlock code could be entered there?

I filed a FCC complaint today too. I plan to call ST tomorrow morning to try to get an unlock code.

I'm assuming someone did the factory reset and it didn't work?

Yes, several of us tried factory reset (more than once), made no difference. It's something in their system that isn't triggering the automatic unlock -

I am sure you meant, #TFUNLOCK# / #83865625#
I could be wrong, new V-model menu won't show up where you can enter any code.
It just said, SIM LOCKED or SIM UNLOCKED, right?
