for me, since i didn't know the number, i just let it go to voicemail. i received an email as well and just called back. the response i got was that they confirmed it was already eligible for unlock. but when i told that it was still locked, i was told to just wait another day. they said they'll call beck again tomorrow to check if it is already unlocked.

we'll see if it'll just be an unending "check again tomorrow" response.

Sounds like they have no clue. Mine has said eligible since evening of 12th with no change so you're going to have to push back - it's not going to unlock without manual intervention from them.
Haven't filled my FCC complaint yet, my 2nd phone is scheduled for unlock tomorrow so waiting to see if I have to complain about one phone or two.

I just unlocked mine by simply connecting to wifi, using the dial pad to type #tfunlock#

Said processing and boom! Unlocked.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank tennis8363

Called, spoke to a rep.

Same BS.

The phone is confirmed to be eligible for unlocking. Lookout for an email for the codes. If nothing happens for 24 hours, call us back.

Me: "Did you do something right now to push it through, or just reading a script".

Shira (Rep): "This should have been automatically done already".

Sigh... Looks like another FCC complaint coming tomorrow.

Lucky, mine just says:
"Device is SIM LOCKED"

"Exit"

Did you already try to get the codes on the tfpolicy website? I think that's how it works.

First you try to get the codes on the website and then you try the wifi dialpad.
I called. Was just told they would be emailed sometime, sigh.

Website tells me this: "
Device Unlocking Eligibility Result
We apologize. Your device is not eligible for our Unlocking Program."

I don't think there is a place to put the codes on this phone. You need to do the website and then the dialpad. That's how it worked for me.

I have two phones, the one I did on the website unlocked the other one didn't. I'm gonna do the website now for the second one.

Edit: actually no, seems the one I didn't request codes for on the website unlocked and the one I requested on the website didn't.

that may be the trick. DO NOT REQUEST CODES ON THE TFUNLOCKPOLICY WEBSITE

just type #tfunlock# on the phone after connecting to WiFi

Nothing seems to work, will just do a chargeback on my CC and find a new phone.

I sent the complaint yesterday. I called back and they asked for the account phone number, the last 4 digits of the IMEI, and a verification code sent to the account email.

They said to wait until tomorrow. They did say they were going to try to escalate it and I should expect to get a call from them or at least I should call them back tomorrow.

They also gave me a ticket number. At least I can reference that for the future.

Also, left the phone on all day. Still says locked.

I tried on the website and I get that message when I put in IMEI 2/eSIM. I didn't get it for IMEI 1. I put in my info for IMEI 1 and nothing shows up in my email, just loops back to the unlock page.

Phone number alone shows I am not eligible, IMEI then asks for phone number and loops back.

That's because this model is supposed to automatically unlock, it doesn't work through the unlocking website like previous phones.
It's been mentioned over and over in this thread along with numerous posts from users that have phones that also aren't unlocking.
File an FCC complaint, ST support is making excuses.
