Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

I'd think this phone is exactly what you would be looking for unless you are okay doing used Galaxy S2x level phones.

$50 for this or ~$250 for used galaxy
Good point! My games are no Genshin or COD lol, so I would assume this will do the job. Plus a good benchmark of anything at this price.

Thanks for the response.

Maybe you need an iPhone as main phone to stay connected with family, friends, work etc. But if not, the moto is 120hz, 128gb, 8gb, ram, microsd slot, headphone jack, 5000mah battery, and bigger screen. The only iPhone advantages are build quality, software, and camera. At half the price, the moto is almost disposable. Way better as media consumption device for games and videos.

Just wanted to thank everyone that had issues getting their phone unlocked a month ago and had to escalate it to get it fixed. The one I bought unlocked at exactly 60 days, no issue.
Did you have to have 2 months service, or just 1?
And should work on T-Mobile/mint after unlocking?

There is no mention of this is a prepaid plan. Can you pls confirm these are prepaid plans?
Probably would help if you read the details at the beginning of the thread where requirements are listed.

Does it affect the unlock status if I remove the SIM and put it in a different phone?

you have a good point here, but I think the slowness of these lower end android kills the whole argument. All of those things are useless when the chip is hella slow. And i had this phone for a few days, returned after realizing it was no use to me
