Have a 20 year old model, and the more recent iteration from about five years ago. One of her things where quality is still there, and the newer ones have a fold down on the metal lip which is incredibly useful.

Also if you are wondering why the OP posted this early, understand that knowing this is going to go on sale and when can be very useful.

This also looks interesting but for different applications. The Costco one is meant for heavy stuff like appliances and has 800-1000 lb capacity. The sams club one is much lighter duty 300 lbs capacity and has a flat capability. I would not use the sams club one for appliances.

Got mine this morning. Already using it. The most awkward this about it was that I had to get a bunch of other stuff at Costco, so I put the hand truck on one of those big carts...I felt like a walking meme or something.

how long is the metal plate at the bottom? I have got to get an old style huge tv out of my house and I am old & weak & by myself.

The shape of the tv is such that I am not sure I will hold it.

I guess I could always return it.
