Just got the 43" version. Fast OS, video quality: better than expected. For $200 totally worth it. Sound: Sufficient. Decent.

Happy thus far.

Exactly. Until this big sizes gets the 120HZ as standard, it's a hard pass.

Avoid HiSense, or buy with extended warranty only. They are of terrible build quality. Just google blinking red light problem on these tv's. My 65" a7 died in 1.5 years. They are always at good price for the features and looks good when working.

Going on 3 years with mine. I would imagine getting an extended warranty wouldn't be a bad idea though given that for a TV this good at a great price there has to be some corners cut somewhere.

Agreed. Our last Hisense 65" lasted 2.5 years. I think the backlight died - black screen where I could barely see faint changes in light when navigating the menus.

For the price, it's a good picture and the onboard OS/chip has improved a lot, so much that I no longer use the Chromecast dongle. We use it strictly for watching TV, no gaming.

I did get the extended warranty this time, through Best Buy since Costco contracts with local third parties to handle their warranty work and it can be hit or miss if you get good service from them. And I haven't purchased an extended warranty in 2-3 decades.

Best Buy had this price last month. Even with the 5 year warranty, this was cheaper than the next cheapest direct-lit 65" at the time. I guess we'll see how it goes this time.

I got this TV. It's a nice panel but software wise nothing but issues. It randomly turns on, can't properly connect it to google home for voice commands. I've had it randomly reboot, also wifi no longer working and using Ethernet. Have a cheap 50in Roku also by Hisense , no issues with that one

Agree with others on the warranty. Bought - 65" in oct 2020 for $250 and last night it crapped out and just turns on, shows the logo for a second and turns off. Nothing I can do and google makes it sound like it's the motherboard. Luckily had the BB warranty and they just sent me a giftcard for $250. Only problem is I have to pay more to get a new one as they don't have a replacement to exchange

What else can you possibly expect for that price/size?!? Be realistic. Maybe in another 5 years or so, we can get the same tv essential, but with 120+Hz.

How much was the extended warranty?
