I have been patiently waiting and the 25% just makes it too good to pass up, with such a great deal I went with the 30. Thank you so much. I love the warm sound their systems produce.

Good deal on Cinema 30 and AV10/AMP10, but for others prices are similar to AC4Less.

If your system colors the sound, get a new system. Also, um, no it doesn't.

I've been patiently waiting for the deals to go on

You can pay MSRP and get your ass rolled on

And it feels like I've been waiting so long

If ya think I'ma pass this deal, you are so wrong

Why would a smaller number Cinema 30 be more expensive than a higher number Cinema 50 or 80? Totally insane.

Damn, these are slick prices. Still rocking my sr 7012. I wish it did stereo subs but too expensive to upgrade to a newer unit

Can you share links for where the Cinema 50 and the 4800 performances are similar?
Sorry can't help with that, I'm not going by reading.
My impression is from personally audible comparing all three.

For me reading isn't as accurate as actually auditioning myself.

Then the better comparison will always be the Cinema 50 against its clone Denon 3800 (one of the worst kept secrets in AV industry). There are arguments to be made that the 4800 won't sound appreciably different from the 3800!

In the Marantz world, the smaller the Cinema "Number", the better the AVR!

What a great price for the 70S. We bought one used from B&H shortly after its release, and it's been a rock-solid driver for our small home theater for the past year, replacing less-capable Costco-special Denon and Yamaha units that both failed within a few months. 70WPC is more than you'd expect, especially if you have a smaller room.

While DIRAC is fantastic software, the included Audyssey tuning has met our expectations, nicely dialing a KEF R2c, 6 Sonance in-wall units, and an SVS 3000 micro sub.
Would have to agree.
I get a chuckle when people portray Dirac so much better.
Having a RC and using it properly is often vastly different.

Having both and implementing them both properly, imo the edge goes to Dirac mostly because of DLBC imo.

If you want possible Dirac Live like performance out of a current D/M, look into the new Audyssey One script.
You just need Audyssey Editor App($20) & REW(free).
It can be pretty impressive!

you could make the same argument on the golf course, electricians supply, and the bait shop; but you won't get any love there either.

Yes that is what "reading" tells you.
When I actually auditioned them, that was not the case for me.

If someone likes the sound signature of Marantz, $1499 for the 50 is a really good price imo, epecially when considering directional and or Dirac imo!

Cinema 50 is the greatest value tier, same as the Denon x3800h. You have all the expandability of the high end models with 4 individual sub preouts and 11 channels of processing if you plan to add an amplifier later. You'll also be able to drive all those channels easier with an amp vs an internal receiver amp.
